Good Apollo, I'm Burning At Both Ends
listening("Tear You Apart","She Wants Revenge"); ?>What, ho. He returned from on high carrying two stones. He teathered the mighty stones to his feet, and chucked his ass into the sea. And there was much rejoicing.
My lapse in real posts can be partially attributed to my not having much of a life, but the bulk of the blame falls on my hesitance to believe that you, the reader, give a shit.
We initiated 34 guys on Friday and had a splendid banquet in Bloomington on Saturday. Shannon came out and a good time was had by all. There was a bit of an issue with the food, but it wasn't that bad.
"Blake's Awesome Coffee" received mixed reviews from my student-based workshop group, most likely because most of the group probably read it as we were going over it. My professor liked it enough to give copies of the first few pages to everyone in the class, so I took my more critical (and petty) reviews with a grain of salt. I'll make some of the more useful revisions and repost for any interested parties in a couple of weeks. We have to write a poem next... don't expect the ink from that little abortion to ever be digitized and made public.
After a near-life crisis, we've recovered our stolen Dixie-Chopper and given me a reason to live again. It was swiped at the end of fall, and was recently recovered in a sting in Indianapolis by one of our alumni. I was worried I wasn't going to have anything to do in the Spring.
It's too late for me to still be up working on homework due Thursday. I've got to wake up at dawn's butt-crack tomorrow just to call our supposed new contact for Senior Design. The project, by the way, is actually coming along despite my group weighing me down like an anchor. I just might pass that class. The jury is still out on the rest of'em.
Expect more updates this week because I feel like I should. Also, I need to spend like another $14 at Amazon with "Attack of the Bacon Robots" in order to get free shipping. I can't justify ordering anything from Amazon without free shipping, so suggest to me ~$15 in merchandise that can get me free shipping.
I'm going to pretend you didn't suggest I become a music major. For your sake. It's just because I'm that nice. I love you anyway.
It was good to see you this weekend. . . Definitely the highlight of the new year. Love you.
I care, Dan. I care....
And I'll publish some of my old college poems from my creative writing course, if you will.
