Cutting Your Balls Off
listening("Nth Degree","Morningwood"); ?>It's only figurative, I assure you. Three weeks later, I've found enough interesting pictures to get Jon's nuts off the mobile-photo-blog deal over to the now-lefthand side of the site. Rejoice at not having to see his weblos anymore.
So, hi. Break is so much better than class, I'll tell you that much. I got back from Pennsylvania on Wednesday night where I had a delightful day-long series of interview with the fine folks over at Lutron. I don't feel it's right to divulge too much of what their interview process is like, but suffice it to say it's unique. I walked away feeling pretty good about everything. One thing I will say is that there was a fire alarm in my hotel 10 minutes before I needed to be in the lobby. At this moment I am still wondering if I left anything hanging around the room.
I get to head back to the Haute on Sunday where I'll start my 2nd to last quarter at Rose. Grades came in earlier this week and it turns out that I kick what can only be described as: ass. Next quarter should prove to be interesting because I get to takes some more hands-on technical kind of classes and stuff like that. Embedded stuff. Communications stuff. It'll be fun.
I'm currently (and don't tell anyone) downloading Capote because it just feels like one of those movies I should watch. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is kind of a weird guy and he plays kind of a weird part in this movie. I don't know. It'll be fun.
All right. That's about all there is to print now. I brought back a theme I used years ago because I liked the graphic and it was easy to update. I'll probably continue to tinker with it as time goes on. Enjoy.
So do you know what you're doing with your life yet? I'm excited for you and your real life. You should fill us all in as soon as you get details.
(in reference to your new layout): Wow...you must not have gotten any action over break...
Capote is a good movie that I think you'll like. It's one of those "slow build" movies that dazzles at the end with it's presentation and acting. Enjoy it.
And good luck with all of your interviewing and stuff. I forgot to say that when we talked about it earlier tonight.
Whatever about the layout...I'm just glad I don't have to look at a ball everytime I bring up your page.
Go you. A lot. We want to hear as soon as you get hired and becomeamazingly successful. It's good inspiration. You do kick ass.
I'll let you know if I ever end up kicking ass.
Lutron is supposed to get back to me by Wednesday... tomorrow is Friday... anxious.
