Wabo Cabo Coma

OK. I realize I hit kind of a dry spell here, but after working 8 hours a day in front of a computer, I find myself less and less inclined to come back and type more for the sake of someone's half-amusement.

I'm actually leaving work here in a little bit to go pick up the Mrs and then we are heading to the east coast for the next week or so. New Jersey first, then Long Island, then Pennsylvania. I'll be in cell-phone communicado the whole time, but probably not WWW.

I guess if you want some quick updates, I can abide. Shannon and I moved into her apartment sometime last week where we've been playing Mr and Mrs Homemakers for the last week or so. There are three other girls living there too, and I like to think we have been parental influences on them. We make sure dinner is cooked and on the table around 6:30 where we all sit down for a family-style meal. The girls say they don't even do that kind of shit at home.

As sort of a spur of the moment deal, we hit up the Sammy Hagar concert on Sunday at Germaine. One of Shannon's friends' boyfriend, Rod (of the local band, 'Sevendeadly'), was going and we all got pulled in like a little daisy-chain. No complaints here, though. Mike Anthony showed up for the last half of the set and they jammed to all Van Halen tunes. Not a bad $10 ticket if I do say so myself.

Following in his brother's footsteps, Tim has started up a little webcomic chronicling his life as a temp. If you remember, I dabbled in webcomics a couple of times over the years. First, with my unnamed series modeled after the late Wintoons, and then again with my "hit" comic 'Petstore' which followed my life as a pet store clerk. I suggest you hit up TIm's endevour, "Another Day, Another Dime" if you get the chance. You wouldn't think it, but he can actually draw.

All right. That's all for the next week or so. Leave a warm and fuzzy. Later.

I'm still looking around for good concerts! A couple of our venues got closed down...so it's sad! Also, the new AFI cd is completely fantabulous. decemberunderground is Jenny approved!

Have fun on the East Coast!

You know, an awful lot of those comics chronicle my bout with a donut eating disorder. DED is no laughing matter. Side effects can be as little as grumpiness and as serious as turning into a pokemon. Parents, please, talk to your children about DED. It is a serious disorder.

So, the facebook thing was just a rumor. I guess they turned down 3/4 of a billion for the site. link here

There's nothing to be ashamed about turning into a pokemon. They call it evolving for a reason.

are you dead? is your brother dead? wtf?
