Another year. I spent most of New Year's Eve with what I quasi-believe was a migraine of sorts, and watching TV and playing video games. Oh, I finished Sedaris' "Barrel Fever" too. It got a little better toward the end. I plan on diving into "Naked" later today and read it this week.

I thought I'd spend at least part of the day doing some housekeeping stuff around the apartment like hanging my diploma and picture frames and what-have-you. The rest of the day? Well...

...I had a bit of good luck on Saturday after my guests left. Guests? Let me backtrack. Thursday night on my way home from work, I get a call from the Woj saying him and John could be to my place in 2 hours. Let'em come! So we had a couple of days of drinking and watching movies. We also went up to Pottsville to visit the Yuengling brewery only to get there 10 minutes before they closed. Oh well. We watched "An Evening with Kevin Smith" and I must say it was quite hysterical. "..and in the third act, Superman has to fight a giant spider."

After they departed on Saturday, I went to Best Buy to get some cheap DVD's and a universal remote, and what should my eyes see? A 60GB PS3... just sitting on the shelf in a store full of people. Well I thought about it... for about 20 seconds and then re-shelved 5 dollar copies of "Spiderman" and "What Dreams May Come" (in retrospect, I guess I could have still bought them) and snagged that son of a bitch along with HDMI cables and "Resistance: Fall of Man" and high-tailed it the hell out of there.

So! To resume the ellipsis, I've spent a fair amount of time playing Resistance and installing Yellow Dog Linux on the beast as the secondary OS. The thing is a sweet little machine. Came with a Blu-Ray copy of Talladega Nights, which I'm not proud to say I watched. 1080i is a sweet thing. I'm on the Playstation Network under the handle, of course, "lilkobi". If any of you nuts ever acquire one of these things and want to rock, drop me a line.

OK! As you can see, I've got shit to do. Adieu.

"..So then a couple months later I go to see a movie, Wild Wild West..." Hope things are going well. And Bridget says hi.

Hi Bridget. Bunny-snuggle.

Hey dude, would you send me your code for your updating blog roll? Thanks

Hey dude, I don't have an updating blog-roll. Used to, but no more. And it was managed by MovableType, my blog program.

In order to have a real updating blog roll, you need to be able to setup a Cron job. Ask Keacher.
