One evening at poker, Jay and I made a suicide pact whereby we would start a new heads-up game of Scrabble every day in the month of February. The rules were simple: no forfeiting and the games go on as long as they have to.
Here’s a quick table of the scores so far:
| Game | Winner | Score |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Dan | 328-308 |
| 2 | Dan | 380-304 |
| 3 | Jay | 351-255 |
| 4 | Dan | 401-294 |
| 5 | Dan | 383-276 |
| 6 | Dan | 375-303 |
| 7 | Dan | 340-270 |
| 8 | Dan | 303-280 |
| 9 | Dan | 413-331 |
| 10 | Dan | 460-251 |
| 11 | Jay | 319-316 |
And because no display of information would be complete without some useless statistics, here they are!
- Dan’s Best Game: 460
- Jay’s Best Game: 351
- Dan’s Average Margin of Victory: 85.1
- Jay’s Average Margin of Victory: 49.5
- Biggest Blowout: 209
- Closest Game: 3
